Job Summary:

Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) is seeking to hire a Substation Engineer to oversee the electrical aspects of their projects, ensuring the efficient implementation and maintenance of their electrical systems within the company's framework.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviewing and understanding the scope of work, technical requirements, and field plan drawings.

Implementing electrical designs and drawings on-site effectively.

Installation and testing of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Providing comprehensive daily QC reports and documenting project progress accurately.

Coordinating with the designated LAB team for necessary site tests and inspections.

Monitoring material procurement and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Facilitating pre-, during-, and post-construction QC-related meetings.

Generating and submitting regular reports on project progress and deficiencies.

Ensuring adherence to the approved Quality Control Plan and international standards.

Planning and executing underground electrical utilities and addressing corrective actions during construction.

Maintaining effective communication and coordination with team members and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably with experience in electrical projects.

Ability to prepare comprehensive progress reports and perform inspections effectively.

Familiarity with site tests and procedures, emphasizing electrical standards.

Certification in Construction Quality Control Management (CQCM) is advantageous.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
