Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead and supervise building construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.
Perform comprehensive site visits and inspections to closely monitor construction progress, promptly identify potential issues or discrepancies, and devise effective solutions.
Foster seamless coordination and collaboration among architects, structural engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of projects.
Develop and review construction plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring strict compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Offer technical guidance and support to on-site construction teams, proactively addressing construction-related challenges and providing expert solutions.
Implement stringent control measures to monitor project costs, meticulously prepare project budgets, and meticulously track expenses to ensure projects remain within the allocated budget.
Conduct meticulous quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications, maintaining the highest construction standards.
Uphold comprehensive project documentation, meticulously recording all construction activities, change orders, and preparing regular project progress reports.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, promoting and sustaining a secure working environment on construction sites.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and materials to provide cost-effective and cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in successfully managing building construction projects.
Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, local building codes, and regulations.
Proficiency in utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other pertinent engineering software.
Exceptional project management skills, exemplifying meticulous planning, organization, and effective task prioritization.
Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and proficient decision-making aptitude.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with diverse teams.
Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to ensuring accuracy in construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.
Sound familiarity with an array of construction materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, along with the ability to implement and enforce stringent safety protocols.
Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, though not mandatory.
This position offers a 2-year contract, inclusive of airfare and visa provided by the company. Additionally, you will be entitled to vacation every 2 years, with bachelor's accommodation provided.
